I Looked Out the WIndow and What Did I See...

Today when I preparing dinner I let the boys play outside, (where I could see them of course). After a little while I heard giggling so I looked out the window and saw something interesting, so I ran and got my camera and this is what my dear sweet baby boys were up to....take a look.

Things Moms Really Don't Like to Hear

Tonight I was resting on the couch, trying to motivate myself to clean up the millions of toys scattered about. I digress, Eli was playing on the floor and all of the sudden said he needed to go potty and rushed to the bathroom. A few seconds later this is what I heard...

"Oh no...I got pee everywhere"

Not a good thing, and I will leave it at that.

I Love to See the Temple

One Saturday it was so pretty out that we couldn't stay home so we packed the family up and headed to Salt Lake for some much needed family outdoor time. We visited temple square, which was a first for the twins. Eli loves to go see the temple so he was really excited.

Thanks to a passerby we were able to get a family picture with the temple in the background, too bad the twins thought the fountain was much more interesting than posing for a picture.

We finally found an area that wasn't too crowded and let Oliver and Emerson explore the wonders around. The were especially intrigued by the beautiful flowers and wanted to stomp on them, thankfully mommy stopped them before they could execute their devious plan.

I think Emerson is trying to get me to look the other way so that he could commence the stomping, but since I didn't fall for it, they came up with a new game called...

"You go that way and I'll go this way" What a fun game! They enjoyed seeing mom chase after one and then chase the other one (Daddy was getting us some yummy Lion house rolls at the time).

Overall it was a fun day! It was nice to get out in the sunlight and warm weather after being cooped up inside all winter long.

Real Salt Lake

A couple weeks ago the professional soccer team here in Utah opened it gates for free to the fans in the area. Isaac has become increasingly interested in the sport so he took Eli and my brother Kendall for a day out at the field. The boys had fun exploring the new stadium, watching the game with almost front row seats and meeting some of the players. They all came home with smiles, memories, sunburns, and COUPONS for future games!! Here are some pictures from the day.

Out of the mouth of Eli

Today as I was getting ready for church, Eli came into the bathroom (he was already dressed and ready to go) looked at himself in the mirror and stated " Oh I look good!"  A very confident boy we are raising!
Then at church Isaac and I are Eli's new primary teachers.  We were discussing the baptismal covenant, and as part of the lesson we breifly stated that we were going to talk about repentance and he sighed and said "Are we going to talk about this again?" I guess we talk about it too much!
