Feeling Inspired to Blog

I don't know if anyone even checks this blog anymore since I have been TERRIBLE about postings lately, but finally post I will. If not for anyone to read for me to journal a bit.
So life the past 28 weeks, cause lets face it I have not really blogged since I found out I was expecting another aerobie (another child for those of you not familiar with frisbee types).
So let's start there:
Baby boy #4 is expected to arrive around July 24th...although I tell him he needs to come on the 23rd around 10ish at night after Isaac gets off work. People laugh at me when I tell them this, but it would be perfect because Isaac gets the 24th off for Pioneer day (got to love Utah) and then we have the whole weekend and it would just be perfect. We are excited to have another boy in the family and are still working on the perfect name for this little blessing. He moves around a lot and I think he enjoys the pre-stretched comfort of my womb (thank you twins). He has caused mom to pop out like a balloon and gain lots of weight (no I am not telling you how much because it is too embarrassing). It should be a lot of fun caring for another baby, and hopefully easier this time around since there is only 1.
Oliver and Emerson are in the process of potty training. They are doing sooo well! I tried a 3-day approach and it worked. We still have an accident 0r 2 a day but for the most part they are big boys and wear big boy underwear all day. We still put them in pull-ups at night because I am not ready to change crib sheets in the middle of the night. They play so well together. At times they like to get under a blanket and play cars. They are so fun to watch.

Eli is approaching the end of kindergarten and is learning so much. He has begun to be daring...climbing trees is his newest adventure, and his clothes are constantly developing holes. Boys will be boys. He is such a big helper around the house and his younger brothers love and look up to him.

Guess What?

We are pleased to announce that we will be increasing our numbers (by one this time). Coming end of July Frizbo #4 will be arriving.

Eli is excited to have another brother or sister, although according to him "I hope it is a girl, cause we dont have any yet". The twins have no clue that their world revolving around mommy will be changing. This should be fun.

Provo Halloween Half Marathon

Before getting on the Bus

A couple of months ago I headed out for a jog and met up with a friend from Church, Sarah, who was actually headed out for a jog as well. I decided to join her and ran 3 miles...little did I know that she along with Colleen would convince me to continue running with them, with a start time earlier and earlier (we now leave at 5:45am!) and that they would convince me to run a half marathon. Well that is exactly what happened and I am sooooo glad that they did.
The morning of Halloween, Sarah, Colleen, Cami, Michelle, and I all got up put on leopard print leg, arm and head bands, added an orange and black tutu, painted on black noses and whiskers and get on a bus heading up to Aspen Grove resort (about two miles above the Sundance resort). Once there we waited for the Sun to rise and then waited some more for the final buses to arrive...finally at 8:45am we all rallied around the starting line to begin the first Provo Halloween Half Marathon.
It was a fast first 4-5miles as we ran down the mountain where we crossed the highway and got on the Provo Canyon trail. It was a beautiful day, not too cold and not too warm. I completed the race in 2hours which felt like an eternity, but was so happy I had finished it. My hubby, kids, parents and sister in law Anna were all there to greet me at the finish line. What a great day...( I of course crashed a couple hours later for a nice nap). I am looking forward to running more half marathons in the future!

Anna and I with the Loverly sign she made!

Halloween

This year we tried to do a Superhero theme....

Eli was the Flash
Emerson was Superman and
Oliver was suppose to be the Green Arrow but I made his costume a little too small and he screamed when I put him in it...so he became a hunter instead.
Isaac was Jay Garrick (one of the original Flashes) He looked so hot in his shirt and aluminum foil hat he made.

The boys seriously brought home the loot though. Friday Eli had his party at school, followed by Trick or Treating at Isaac's work, Ultradent.
Saturday several of the wards in the stake held a trunk or treat that we attended (mental note for next year...bring more candy). After that I took the twins home and Eli and Isaac continued on. The reward was three bags full of candy. Now if I can only stay away from it we will all be fine! It was a fun day.
